Water temperatures have dropped into the low 50s. The western side of the old dam is exposed and just a small portion of the east side is visible. Boats, float tubes, and kayaks can be easily launched. Shoreline fishing has been good with anglers catching 3 to 4 fish per hour.  Recent angler contacts revealed rainbow trout in the 10-to-14 inch range being caught.  A few brown trout have been reeled in, typically between 6 and 10 inches, however, one angler recent caught a nice 18-inch brown trout. Anglers will do well for trout throwing nightcrawlers, PowerBait, and spinners. Fall stocking of approx. 5,700 rainbow trout occurred last month.
