East Walker River
The California side of the EW is closed for Winter, just the Nevada side is open now. The fishing down here has been overall fairly slow though there are still a few fish being caught. The traffic has been pretty slow down there so we haven't really been getting very many reports, most of the anglers we have spoken with have been telling us that they are just getting into a few fish per day, the flip side of that coin is that a good portion of the fish they are catching are pretty nice, in the high teens and low twenties, both browns and rainbows. It sounds like they are still eating some streamers as well as your usual host of nymphs down there.
Sceirine Ranch
We haven't had any news back from the ranch lately but will pass on anything we hear in the future
Hunewill Pond
The pond is closed for the Winter, we'll let you know when it is ready for action in the Spring.
Bridgeport Reservoir
Bridgeport Reservoir is now closed for the season, opening day will be April 25, 2026
Kirman Lake
Kirman is now closed for the season, opening day will be April 25, 2026.
Twin Lakes
The Twins are now closed for the season, opening day will be April 25, 2026.
West Walker River
The West is open for catch and release barbless fishing for the Winter months, we haven't had any news from up there lately but if/when we do we'll pass it on!
Virginia Lakes
The Virginias are now closed for the season, opening day will be April 25, 2026.

Robinson Creek (downstream from Lower Twin Lake) and the West Walker River, open for catch and release, barbless hook fishing.
East Walker River - Nevada, Rosachi and Sceirine sections, catch and release, single barbless hooks.
Topaz Lake
Virginia Creek, Buckeye Creek, Green Creek, Little Walker River - no special regulations.
