The reservoir is 80 percent covered in very thin ice

The boat dock has been removed from the water for the winter. The reservoir is 80% covered in very thin ice with very little open water accesible. All ice should be considered unsafe at this time. If ice conditions become safe, trout fishing should be good for fish between 16″ and 22″.

Comins Lake: Comins Lake has seen a loss of ice this week
Jakes Creek Reservoir (Boies Reservoir): Water levels are good and no ice has formed
Ruby Lake NWR: Ruby Lake is ice free
South Fork Reservoir: The dock at the main boat ramp has been removed for the winter
Wild Horse Reservoir: Wild Horse Reservoir Fishing Report
Illipah Reservoir: There is opaque, weak ice on the lake and all ice should be considered unsafe at this time
Cave Lake: Cave Lake is entirely open water with a thin layer of ice over portions of the lake
