Riviera Marina Fishing Report

Colorado River - Laughlin - Laughlin, NV

This goes back a bit, but here are a couple of stripers I caught while fishing the river with Del Olden. I landed two fish, right around six and seven pounds. I was using a Bomber Long A lure.

We just had a trout stocking at Rotary Park, so the next plant should be at Community Park. This is a great time for trout anglers to get out and catch your limit of rainbow trout. Nightcrawlers and PowerBait have been working well, along with various spinners and trout jigs.

With that being said, it’s also a really good time to get out and land a few stripers, which helps protect the trout population. I just saw an update from the Arizona Game and Fish Department—the striper limit on Lake Mead and Lake Mohave has changed to no limit and no size limit, so catch as many as you can.

Up on Lake Mohave, most striper fishing is done by boat, but there are a few shore spots that can produce great catches. One good area is near the dam on the Nevada side. I’ll post more updates as we go along.

Hope this helps for now, and we look forward to seeing you come in to share your catch and your story. Thanks for the support.

Now go catch a fish!
