Anglers along the aqueduct reported an improved striper bite with cut sardines and jumbo live minnows producing limits in the southern aqueduct. Artificial lures also worked as American shad, aurora shad, and bone 110 deep-diving jerkbaits all produced fish. Catfish action was solid with anglers using dip bait, chicken liver, and cut anchovies on a Carolina rig. One angler reported catching some quality bluegill on redworms near the outtake grates. Largemouth bass responded to Texas-rigged green pumpkin Senkos, and brown tube baits were effective when fished around bridge pylons and outtake grates.
