The reservoir is fully open water and the boat ramp at the State Park is back in the water. Caution is necessary when navigating the shallows due to low water levels. Water temps are sitting in the low to mid 40s. Trout fishing has been fair to slow, with most catches measuring 12″-18″. Fish are still moving slowly in the cold water, so be sure to stick to slow presentations. Balanced leeches, woolly buggers and chironomids should work for fly anglers. Spin casters will have luck floating PowerBait or worms just off the bottom. Bass fishing will remain slow until warmer weather persists.
