Spring trout stocking typically begins at the community ponds in early March and continues into June. Trout catch rates are good to great during these spring months. We recommend using a piece of nightcrawler fished below a bobber, or trout dough bait fished off the bottom or behind a casting bubble. Lures (such as inline spinners, casting spoons and marabou jigs) and streamers (such as Pistol Pete flies, woolly buggers and leech patterns) can also be effective.
