Crazy April weather on the Truckee River. More snow this month than we had in March. Go figure. 

Flows are still big below Boca. Pouring a lot of water out of Boca. Big flows through Hirschdale and into Nevada. I like the big flows. Tough for the normal wade angler though. Hard to find the spots fish can get out of current. Remember, just look for calm bank water. They're there. Do not wade in deep. Fish are less then a rod tip away. 

If you're looking for more chill water. Fish above the inlet at Boca, up towards Truckee. 

Fishing had been really good the last month, and that looks to continue. We've seen some big fish come out of these high flows.
