Anglers have been fishing shallow in the early morning in about 30 ft of water on the west shore. They have been trolling fast with big Rapalas and picking up a few small mackinaws.

As the sun gets a little higher, and after soaking the minnow trap, fish a little deeper in 150 to 175 ft of water with a jig and a live minnow.

Talking with my friend Jason, he said he and his friend caught 10 nice macs that one morning.
