Friday Offshore Update
- The Polaris Supreme checked in from their 3 Day with 52 Bluefin Tuna up to 120lbs and 17 Yellowtail.
- The Apollo returned from their 1.5 Day trip with 8 yellowtail, 7 barracuda, 19 calico bass, 12 sheephead,19 whitefish, 6 sand bass and 4 bonito.
Friday San Diego Full Day
- The San Diego wrapped up today's Full Day Coronado Islands trip with a nice catch of 19 Yellowtail, 10 Rockfish, 8 Barracuda and 10 Calico bass. Flylined baits have been producing well, but anglers should also come prepared with gear for yo-yo iron and dropper loop fishing, as both techniques have been effective. Surface iron enthusiasts have also had opportunities to get in on the action.
Sea Watch 3/4 Day
- The Sea Watch continues the local Calico Bass action. Recent trips have produced a fun mix of Calico Bass, Barracuda, and Bonito, with several solid opportunities to connect with Yellowtail and White Seabass as well. For the best results, bring a 20–30 lb live bait setup and a selection of plastics for the Calico Bass bite. Don't miss out—check the schedule and book your trip today!
New Seaforth 1/2 Day
- The New Seaforth has been enjoying the outstanding Calico Bass action with some Yellowtail showing up. The PM trip also got into a little White Seabass action as well. Captain Brian recomends a 20–30 lb live bait setup along with a selection of surface baits for targeting the Yellowtail. Be sure to make your reservations early, as trips can fill up quickly. Rod rentals and fishing licenses are available at check-in for your convenience.
Thursday Evening Twilight
- The New Seaforth's Twilight trip finished with 12 calico bass (100 released), 1 sand bass, 2 barracuda, 1 sheephead and 1 rockfish.
