Fishing is still fair to good in the collection ditch for rainbow trout and tiger trout, with a few brown trout also being picked up. Fly anglers are reporting success with trout on nymphs like the copper john and gold-ribbed hare’s ear. With temperatures warming up through July, try switching to dry fly patterns. Small, flashy spinners like Panther Martins are the go-to for spin anglers. Special Regulations: Artificial lures only in the collection ditch. No wading allowed in the collection ditch.
The bass bite is on. Brown Dike and Unit 21 have been producing fair to good fishing for bass, with 10-15 smalls per keeper.
From June 15 through July 31 motorless watercraft and boats with battery-powered electric motors are permitted in South Marsh. Fishing should be good in this area with water levels being at or near objective.
