Fishing conditions: Great

Report: The upper river below Lake McCloud through the Conservancy continues to fish very well, particularly in the evenings. Dry-dropper with a Chubby Chernobyl hanging a BP Weiss, Olive Hotspot, or Sweet Pea is a good setup. The Yellow Sallies are coming off in the afternoons, so swap your dropper with a UV Sally or Jiggy Yellow Sally. Fishing tailouts with streamers like Barr's olive or black Slumpbuster or your favorite Sculpin will produce. Streamers can net a big Brown. Pit River: This is a great river to fish a Euro rod and we highly recommend it
Trinity River: Flows from Lewiston are now set to 450 CFS and will remain there through October 15th
Sacramento River - Upper: The flows on the low end above Lake Shasta are just above 250 CFS
