The Crooked River is dropping to under 200 cfs. 177 cfs as of today. That’s still a fair bit of water for the area, and fishing is really good. PMD hatches are improving, and we ought to see more BWO’s coming on this month and in October.
Nymph action is excellent! Frenchie and Walts, Jig Napoleon, Spanish Bullet and Perdigons are killer. Scuds, Zebra Midge and Winkers are also recommended.
