There's no fishing near the whales but anglers are allowed to fish the San Joaquin side and below Rio Vista. Bank anglers are getting striped bass from keeper size to 11 pounds from Sandy Beach and the Old Dairy. The wind has done more to keep angling pressure down than the whales. (707) 374-2372.
