Q105 scores big bass, yellowtail on Fish Trap skiff trip

Benitos yellows and calico bass strongholds made for a great 7-day trip on the Qualifier 105 sponsored by Fish Trap Lures and SportfishingReport.com.

Calico bass to 9 pounds topped the skiff fishing at Sacramento Reef, Cedros Island, and Islas San Benitos, while a school of big yellowtail popped up in the Gap to provide thrills on the surface iron, including the pair of 37-plus-pounders displayed above by Barry Brightenburg of Fish Trap Lures and SportfishingReport.com's Rich Holland.
