The conditions on the Upper Owens are still good, nymphing is the best right now

Water Conditions:
Good to Excellent as of 3/24 the flows are constant at 79cfs. Road is open all the way up. 4X4 and a wash job on the way home are recommended.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches:
Good nymphing is the most sucessful but at least a short BWO hatch midday. Midges early and baetis later as usual. Stripping streamers under the cut banks still delivering some big guys.

Parachute Adams #20, Brook's CDC Baetis #22-24, Extended Body BWO #18-22, Brook's Sprout Baetis #22, Stalcup Emerger Midge #22, Para DUN #20, Thorax BWO #20
NYMPHS:
Western Coachmen #12-14, Tungsten Zebra Midge #18-20, Tungsten Psycho #20, Copper Zebra Midge #20-22,Flash Wing WD-40 Olive #20-22, BH Flashback Pheasant Tail #16, Olive WD-40 #18, San Juan Worms, Red Copper John #18, Prince Nymph #18
STREAMERS:
Meat Whistles, Olive Black and Brown Wooly Buggers, Slump Busters, Perfection Perch, Punk Perch, Stinging Sculpin
