The river is running at about 125 cfs today. We've been getting some afternoon thunderstorms most afternoons this week, this has helped keep the water temps down and the fish on the river are still feeling pretty happy.

Small midges and caddis nymphs have been the best tools though there has been some decent dry action with caddis late in the evenings. Patterns to try include WD-40, flashback emerger, zebra midge, rainbow warrior, silver streak, Fox's poopah, 3-wire caddis, buckskin caddis, elk hair caddis, E/C caddis and parachute adams. Our guides are on the river daily and are paying close attention to the how the fish are fighting and releasing, if they start having trouble releasing fish we'll be the first to let you know, so far all is good and those browns seem to be hanging in there just fine! We've also had some very good reports from the Rosachi section in Nevada, mostly small midges and caddis nymphs have been working down there as well.
