On the Lower Oeens fishing is good. Fish midges early & if it gets cold try Baetis

Water Conditions: Good the flows are at 100cfs as of 12/24.

Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Still good with perfect wading conditions. Fish are biting from 11am until 2pm. Fish Midges early. After that maybe a Baetis hatch for an hour if cold. On overcast rainy days that the temps gets up to 55F the hatches can be prolific but sporadic.

Hot Creek: Fishing is good at Hot Creek, but the bite window is only from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Owens River: There are still some large Crowley fihs being caught in the Upper Owens
Owens River: In the middle of the day fish on the Owens River Gorge are active but there are not many hatches
Pleasant Valley Reservoir: Water at Pleasant Valley Reservoir is cold so the rule of thumb is "Deep, Dark & Slow"

Pleasant Valley Reservoir: It's a good time to go float tubing at Pleasant Valley Reservoir
Owens River: On the Lower Owens fish Midges early and then switch to Baetis
East Walker River: On the East Walker you'll fing the fish stacked in the deepest pools
