Flows are 110 CFS. The road still has snow on it starting at the inlet to Boca. It is packed down for the most part and Friday you could get to the top parking lot in a 4-wheel drive. There are some boulders in the road that have fallen from the hills on the sides on the road so be careful. Warmer weather could loosen up the packed snow on the road and make it a little trickier as the snow melts.

The fishing has been pretty good over the past few days. There has been a few Baetis hatching and if you can get up there on a cloudy warm day it could be epic. Boca Reservoir is still all but iced over except for a little area around the inlet. There have been some fish hanging out in the open water there as well. Nymphing with light tippet say 5X to 6X and small size 18-22 nymphs is doing the most damage. The water is really clear and flies with little to no flash on them are a must. Beads can even spook the fish right now. For dry fly enthusiasts take your time and try to find a working fish. They have not seen many fishermen lately and can be fooled with one cast. Beating the water with a dry fly or a nymph rig for that matter is not the answer. Look for fish or fishy areas and make fewer casts. There is not much snow in the meadow right now and getting around is not too difficult. There are some snow drifts and deeper pockets and the expected warmer weather could make it a little more difficult over the next week.
