Water Conditions: Good the flows are up to 223 cfs as of 3/21. Water is clear and warming up everyday.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Fishing continues to be excellent. with medium flows and daytime temperatures in the low 70's. Fish are on the bite by 9am and it goes until 4 pm. Fish Midges early and late. Prolific May Fly hatches midday but not everywhere so move if it doesn't happen where you first park. 300 yds down it could be a snowstorm of bugs and Happy Jack's Fish Farm.

NYMPH: Flashback Pheasant Tail #18-#20, MicroMay #18, Copper Tiger #18, Zebra Midge 18, Tungsten Flashback Black Beauty #18, Birds Nest #16-#18, Crystal Hunchback Baetis #18-#20, Barrs FB BWO #18
DRIES: CDC Baetis Dun #16-#18, Hi Vis Parachute BWO #18, Hatch Matcher BWO #18
STREAMERS: Flahabou Buggers, Docs Twin Lake Special, Pops Bugger Olive, Hornberg
Guides Hint: Shake the bushes and if you can't breathe, put on your waders.

Hot Creek: Hot Creek has hungry fish on the feed
Owens River: The big Crowley fish have gone home, the resident fish are on the bite early and late

Owens River: Every year a week or two after the Super Bowl the Lower Owens goes off, this year is no exception
Hot Creek: The fishing continues to be good at Hot Creek but the window is 11 AM to 2 PM
Owens River: On the Upper Owens fish deep dark & slow with streamers
Owens River: The fish are active at the Owens Gorge during the middle of the day but don't expect many hatches
Pleasant Valley Reservoir: The area right below the stream section of the Pleasant Valley Reservoir is the "Sweet Spot"
Owens River: This is an ideal time to fish the Lower Owens
East Walker River: With the recent pick up in the flows on the East Walker fishing should improve soon
