Water Conditions: Current flows are at 37cfs as of 6/26 and the water is crystal clear!!
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: It is all about the dry flies on the creek!! For the lake, pull streamers with at least a type 3 sinking line.
Recommended Flies:
DRIES: parachute adams, extended body bwo, hatch matcher, stimulator, rubber leg stimulators, chernobyl, light cahill, sierra brite dot, elk hair caddis, yellow sally, mini hot garcia's
NYMPHS: wd40, variety of midges, black beauty miracle nymph, mighty may sloan, copper johns, prince nymphs, micro mays, micro stones
STREAMERS: Goat Leech, Crystal Bugger, matuka, marabou leech, doc twin specials, bh carey bugger, hornbergs, belly ache minnow
Guides Hint: fyi-Mosquito flat/Little lakes Valley fishing great!! good area for day fishing hikes

Mammoth Lakes Basin: Fishing on Mammoth Lakes will vary from Good to Great depending on the weather
Hot Creek: It is time to throw some Hoppers at Hot Creek
San Joaquin River: Dry Fly fishing is "off the hook" on the San Joaquin River
Crowley Lake: Anglers are averaging 2 to 3 fish in the 18" range
Owens River: The water is off color on the Upper Owens which is affecting the fishing
Owens River: Mornings and evening are the best times to fish the Owens River Gorge
Pleasant Valley Reservoir: The water level is high at Pleasant Valley, most of the fish moved to the stream section

Mammoth Lakes Basin: Awesome fishng at Mammoth Basin Lakes
Hot Creek: Good fishing at Hot Creek, the winds will affect the fishing however
San Joaquin River: Depending on the time of day, dry fly fishing at San Joaquin can be "off the hook"
Crowley Lake: Fishing at Crowley can be mixed
Owens River: You want to fish the Upper Owens either in the AM or the early evening hours
Owens River: The dry fly fishing has been good at the Owens River Gorge
Pleasant Valley Reservoir: Because Pleasant Valley Reservoir is high the fish have moved to the stream
Rock Creek - Section 1: The fishing is very good at Rock Creek & in little lakes valley
Rush Creek: The best fishiong at Rush Creek is the wild trout section near the highway
Owens River: The Lower Owens fishing has been both good and slow at times
Bridgeport Reservoir: Bridgeport Reservoir is very low right now
East Walker River: Finally the water level is up on the East Owens
