Roger F. took a church group to Lake Powell Aug. 2-4 with great results: My church group and I had taken a group of youngsters fishing at Lake Powell. We had decided to fish at Padre Bay and, man, did we choose the right spot. Fish were sitting between 35-50 feet and with anchovies as bait, we were hauling in 5- to 8-pound stripers, and catfish up to 3 pounds. What a day of fishing. Sure tied a lot of knots for them young men.
