Rainbow Trout are being planted in the Las Vegas Urban Ponds

The Nevada Department of Wildlife is currently planting rainbow trout each week into Tule pond at Floyd Lamb Park, Lorenzi Park, Sunset Park, and Boulder City's, Veteran's Memorial Park. Of the four ponds at Floyd Lamb park only the upper Tule pond is stocked with rainbows. At Veterans Memorial park there are two ponds with the upper pond receiving fish, while the lower one next to the parking area is closed to fishing.
