Warmer temperatures have reduce the ice mass and the majority of the lake is open to shore fishing. As of this past Sunday there was a considerable amount of ice at the boat ramp. Fishing was reported as slow for all species. For updated ice conditions contact the State Park office at (505) 876-2391. Anglers should be aware that it is illegal to use bait fish at this lake.
