While anglers are finding the bite to be on the slow side, the areas near Community Park and Casino Row are still producing. The fish are generally on the small side, but when a school comes through anglers have been able to reel in some bigger fish. The area around Big Bend State Park has given up some good fish. A couple of young anglers each brought in a trophy fish, one weighed in at 3.74 pounds and another at 14.78 pounds.
