The kokanee bite is outstanding. Trout and bass fishing very good and catfishing in a fine summertime mode. Kokanee limits are coming from the main lake near the spillway/dam and the mouth of Carson Cove. Orange or pink Glitterbugs, Micro-hoochies or Uncle Larry’s Spinners are producing well. Trout trollers work the main river channel 30 to 50 feet below the surface with Apex, Excel, Cripplure or Rapalas. Tip the lures with a small piece of nightcrawler. Spotted bass are putting on a steady bite upriver. Find them from the bank to 25 feet. (209) 586-2383
