Shane Slaughter docked his Islander August 31 at Fisherman's Landing. His 17 angler enjoyed a three-day trip for albacore.

The best albie on the Islander was a 32.4-pounder caught by Pat Whitfell of Chula Vista. He said it bit on a sardine and a 3/0 ringed Super Mutu. He used 40-pound Izorline, an Avet JX-2 reel and a Seeker 6470 Black Steel rod.
