Guide Monte Smith went out on a test run last week. Water temperature ranges from 50 to 52 degrees. Trout are scattered throughout the lake and they are suspended with bass and baitfish. Bite was decent and three anglers caught and released 13 trout. Saturday’s trip required downriggers to pull limits from 30 feet deep. Full moon made the bite challenging.Monte Smith (209) 848-2746
