Flows will be a little high on the Pit River so use caution when wading and fish edges from Pit 3, #4 Flows & #5 Flows below Lake Britton Dam down to Power House 5 and Big Bend. Water still a little off color due to snow melt, but fishing well. Use princes size 14, rubber legs size 12 with a smaller beaded nymph like a Hairs Ear size 14. Cycle through nymphs that are size 14 & 12’s use heavier nymphs that get down and dirty. Bring a wading staff and think about possible using some shin protectors and PFD wading vest for floatation, this river can be  difficult to wade in places and hard to see ground, you kind of feel your way around leaning on your staff. Also consider bringing a sink tip 350 grains and using some heavy Blood Sucking leech patterns size 6 as well as crystal buggers size 8.

double nymph rigs with lots of weight like use one or two size SSG Dinsmore weights above your two nymphs. Rely on high sticking and stay attached to your flies for best results.
