Striper bite continues to be good for those using fresh shad, pile worms or mud shrimp. A lot are going to Cache Slough and Sherman Island. Stripers are 18 to 34 inches, most are 18 to 26 inches. Catfish bite is good at Sherman Island and near the Rio Vista Bridge. Largemouth bass are in the canals and sloughs. Hap’s Bait (707) 374-2372, Barry Canavero (916) 777-6498
