The HOT weekend actually slowed the numbers of anglers on the river with this weekend. Still, bank anglers scored this past week along the highway 160 from Three Miles Slough Bridge to Isleton Bridge on cut baits, pile worms. Cut baits and crawlers scored some nice catfish. Things are solid, now if the wind would would ever calm we could have a solid week ahead.  Panfish bite is also on the upswing using wax and red worms under bobbers out of the current.  Smallies are showing for crankbait anglers from Isleton to Walnut Grove. Striper trollers caught and released about 8 fish to 12 fish per trip.
