Kokanee are stacking up on structure and toward the bottom in shallow water. Apexes and Uncle Larry Spinners work well, especially green and pink. Kokes 17 to 17-1/2 inches are common and the fish are solid. Trout anglers are picking through 12-inch planters from the surface down 50 feet. Bass anglers were getting four to five pound bass on topwater lures before the heat set in. Get out early or stay late and there’s a chance at quality bass. Otherwise, work the offshore rock piles with drop-shot rigs.  Sweeney’s Sports (707) 255-5544; Don Paganelli (916) 502-3474, www. http://guidebass.net/; Troy Barr (707) 372-7599. www.Fisht-roy.com
