The Upper Sacramento River is fishing better since July 9th the flows increased to 240 CFS from 218. This re-boots the river and the fish get the oxygen they so badly need on a low water year. Lower river use a black crystal bugger on your floating line w/ long 2 x leader to catch trout and bass. Upper river nymph with small non beaded flies like size 14 pt’s, un-beaded soft hackles as a lot of crane flies and terrestrials are starting to appear. Use a hopper with a dropper, think out of the box right now it works.  www.jacktrout.com, (530) 926-4540
