Lake level is at 70%. Water temp is in the low 60’s in the morning, rising to about 66 in the afternoon. Fishing has been improving over the last few days.

Bank fishing is good at Mallard Cove in the morning with worms or Power Bait. Trolling pays off around the big island and in the channel.  Dick Nite Copper Red Head, Red Dot Frog and Fire Tiger Patterns are most commonly employed.

Fly fishers go to the west side with most reports coming from Jenkins and Cow Creek.  Ice Cream Cone, Blood Midge, Woolly Bugger, Wiggle Tail, Snails and Scuds have all been reported as working. The snails are back.  (530) 832-0270
