Fishing on The Ridge and the southern banks has taken a definite upswing recently, as returning skippers report warm blue water has moved in on The Ridge and at Alijos Rocks. Also, larger tuna are being seen, and a few are biting on the southern banks. It's not the wide-open angling that ten-day trips sometimes provide, but it ain't bad, and it's getting better daily.
