Without a doubt this has been one of the most heavenly rides in to Cabo San Lucas that any of us remember. With such fantastic weather and a boomer trip on big fish under our belts, a festive spirit possessed the boat yesterday afternoon when Captain Morgan appeared from down below. There were many stories to be told (none of which were embellished) and much fun to be had and it was clear by the volume level during the dinner hour that everyone was enjoying the party. Even though we did not join in the libations, we enjoyed ourselves as much as we reveled in the position a long range Captain lives for. A beautiful catch of fish, glorious, flat calm traveling weather, and a thoroughly satisfied, wonderful group of anglers energized by the memories they now carry from their long range adventure on Royal Star.
Our arrival in Cabo San Lucas will be tomorrow and then the journey north continues with Captain Toussaint skippering the final leg. Look for our reports to continue.

Interestingly, the action was more spread out yesterday with the handful of fish landed in the morning and mid day setting the tone for what turned out to be another very good afternoon. There is one observation over the past few days that we would like to pass on that may be of help to those of you on...... Read More
