The guys had a very different day down below as Captain Toussaint reported good scattered sign of big fish throughout the region that were all but uninterested in what they had to offer. They did manage to hook a few bigger fish, including one that was well over two hundred pounds that was tragically lost only yards from the boat, but again the catching, almost completely oppostie of yesterday, was very soft. There were a few decent scores that came in as the guys spread out looking late in the day so overall the prospects remain very good. In fact, Capt. Toussaint related that they are seeing more and more of the bigger fish filtering in every day again leading one to believe that now, barring some kind of catastrophic change in sea conditions, it is simply a matter of time before the bigger fish start coming over the rail. With perfect, flat calm weather in the forecast, and the full moon soon coming, now is as good a time as any. At the very least we hope that good luck is on all our side.

At present, it looks like the list of strategic options is distinctly limited due to the presence of tropical storm, soon forecast to...... Read More
