We opted to start our Las Rocas 11-day charter prospecting offshore today. In spite of great weather and numerous kelps not much to report aside from some decent dorado and one wahoo. We are moving into the Ridge for tomorrow where we hope to get some wahoo and school tuna before continuing down to the big fish zone.

As promised, here are a few choice photos from the Larry Fancher 10 day that returned on Saturday. Today's selections feature a sequence of images as we approached a big spot of breaking fish sharing a huge bait ball that was driven to the surface by dolphins, sea lions, whales, and of course yellowfin tuna. Accompanied by a gentle rolling northwest swell, no wind to speak of, and near zero seas, the relaxing ride up the line was enjoyed by all while the usual tasks in preparation for arrival tomorrow were attended to.
