Overall great day of bft angling in gorgeous flat calm weather. The action was consistent throughout the morning as we strung numerous schools together for 90 bft and 10 yft from 20-30lbs. In the afternoon we got on a school of the bigger models that put on a spectacular show while producing another 9 fish from 70- 75lbs, a perfect ending to the day.
Amazingly no one will be on the grounds tomorrow to take advantage of this incredible opportunity but a few of our code boats should be here on the 10th.
Hopefully they can keep the ball rolling which I'm sure they will. Tom Byer with a 74lber and Jim Baker with a school grade bft are today's shots.

06/07/12 We spent the better part of the day getting the proper water located as the area where we started the trip got blown apart. After a thirty mile move we got back on a likely structure and strung together a few schools for 60 bft from 18-30lbs this afternoon. No sign of the big fish today but when they show it will be around here. The weather is forecast to grease off tomorrow which usually bodes well for a bft...... Read More

06/06/12 Similar to yesterday with numerous spots of yellows around that were reluctant to bite but we up ended scratching out a day while staying out of the weather. After enjoying dinner in the lee of the island we're heading back out to the bft grounds for tomorrow. The weather is forecast to start coming down so hopefully we get back on them. Eric Brown is in today's shot with one of the three albacore from our first day. Randy Photo Here......... Read More
