Another fine day of offshore angling on quality 25-40lb bft in nice weather. The
overall sign was impressive today with fish spread over sixty miles which should
bode well for upcoming trips. We will finish up here tomorrow.

8-2-201208/01/12 Great change of pace this morning in the form of a nice steady surface yellowtail bite on the anchor in flat calm weather. 07/31/12 A little slower today but we managed to put together a nice catch on 20-40lb bft and yft out of three long drifts. The bft put on a great show but lived up to their reputation of being crafty biters. The lighter flouro short topshots were the way to go which made for fun angling. We are traveling tonight and will be trying for yellows tomorrow. ...... Read More
