We had an incredible day of yellowtail fishing today. With the exception of about two hours mid morning we had the boat stopped, anglers at the rail, and fish on our lines. The yellows were 17 - 28# and biting fish. We will nurse some sore muscles tonight and be hard at it again in the morning.

Stan Sperling gets the honors today showing off one of his yo-yo yellows caught on a sardine pattern HT-4.7.

9/28/12 As good as we had it yesterday the fishing today was hard pressed to have an ill effect upon the overall trip. Better said the fishing we had throughout the voyage. We are loaded up in every respect. Again the big three were accomplished with room to spare - quantity, quality, and variety.
