Little Virginia is fishing excellent right now with some anglers reporting catching and releasing 30 or 40 fish per day. Big Virginia is about 75 percent ice free now and should start picking up anytime. Spin anglers are using mice tails, power bait and crawlers, as well as casting thomas bouyants, kastmasters and vibrax lures. Fly anglers are going with Twin Lakes Specials, simi seal leeches, seal buggers, matukas, soft hackles, and ap emergers. (760) 932-7707 www.kenssport.com
