Though we saw very good water and life in that water, we did not tag a fish today. We had one mystery jig strike that managed to unhook itself before we could make a positive identification. Despite the results our drive to find something better remains unchanged.

6-5-2015Today we departed on the Baja Fish Gear 8-day open. After baiting up and heading out, we found an area of fish that was reluctant to bite. As is the norm for this boat, when we don't like what we are seeing we head off in hopes of finding something better. We will be prospecting offshore tomorrow.
