Top water lures thrown early and late can get bass. Buzz baits, wake baits and spooks are good choices. Crappie are entertaining anglers at Mackey Point for those using mini-jigs under a bobber. Catfish are coming from the White Oak area. Cut mackerel works best. Big fish of the week was a 9.5 pound largemouth caught by Ken Hemer with a wakebait. (805) 438-1522
