With water temperatures between 56 and 60 degrees Fahrenheit, the fish are active during any part of the day. Water levels remain good, and boats can still be launched at the ramp. Boaters should use caution backing in trailers, however, as large rocks sit right off the bottom of the ramp. Water clarity is at 10+ft. Trout fishing is picking up as fish are moving into the shallows. try fishing worms and PowerBait fished off the bottom, or dark-colored wooly buggers for fly anglers.

The road to Angel Lake remains open, but expect some snow and ice around the shorelines. Anglers are having luck throwing green PowerBait and small trout spinners off the dam. Fly anglers paddling float tubes or kayaks near the rock walls are catching trout on small ant and leech patterns.
