Guide James Netzel checked in from the San Joaquin River today. We had very good fishing today that resulted in limits for our group of 3 anglers. Great day in the delta today. Stripers up to 12 pounds. Played a lot of catch and release. Caught em shallow, caught em deep. Didn't matter.

Not red hot action, but did pretty good in the wind today in the muddy waters of the delta. wound up with 2 limits to 8 pounds. Also found an anchor!! Lol

This was taken 10 days ago at Oroville. It's come up 35' since then. Answer to our prayers!!! And still rising!! Gonna be using the main launch real soon. That's gonna make the walk to the truck long again. LOL!

Captain James checked in from Tight Lines Guide Service with an update from his 2nd trip of 2016. James said, "We Got 2 more than I expected today at Oroville. Dirty, cold water. Rocky Mountain Tackle Company double glow pink billfish squid and a double glow pink plankton squid was the ticket. Oh, and lost a shark weight too. Ouch!!!"

Guide James Netzel checked in with his first report for 2016. We had good fishing for Chinook Salmon on Lake Oroville today. Lake Oroville is recovering and we are very happy to see the water levels go up. Let's hope they continue to rise.
