EAGLE VALLEY RESERVOIR Rainbow, tiger, and brown trout fishing is picking up. Fishers have reported good fishing with night crawlers, garlic PowerBait, and Mepp’s spinners. Temperatures are dropping near freezing overnight, making the afternoon best for bass and crappies. ECHO CANYON RESERVOIR Anglers have been catching trout with a variety of baits and lures. BILK CREEK RESERVOIR Fishing has been tough at Bilk with exceptionally warm water. Look for bass fishing to improve closer to fall when temperatures drop some. BLUE LAKES Fishing has been very good at Blue. Fly fisherman are finding that the typical damsel nymphs and small leech patterns have been very effective. EAGLE VALLEY RESERVOIR Anglers have been doing well from shore. Trout are averaging 10 to 12 inches. Bass are still hitting lines later in the day, and trout fishing has been best throughout the morning hours. Anglers are using worms and PowerBait with great success.
