Knoll Lake - Payson, AZ

Knoll Lake is a 75-acre high-elevation reservoir located off Forest Road 300 near Payson, AZ. Positioned at 7,340 feet in the Coconino National Forest, it offers exceptional seasonal trout fishing in a picturesque alpine environment.

The Arizona Game and Fish Department stocks rainbow trout regularly from spring through fall. Brown trout are also present, though in lower densities. Anglers have success with bait such as PowerBait and worms, while spin fishermen use spoons and spinners.
