Local writer Doug Busey checked in with a fish report from the East Fork of the Carson River. On Sunday, September 18th I caught this nice 25 inch Rainbow Trout on a Panther Martin Spinner with Ultra Light Gear. The fish was caught in fast water and it took me 20 minutes to reel it in. The fish was never weighed with a scale. However, ESFR estimates the fish to be around 7 pounds.
