Most of the Action Has Been with Nymphs!

East Walker River (CA) - Bridgeport, CA

The East is running at about 181 cfs right now. The fishing has slowed up a bit this past week but there are still some nice fish being caught.  The dry/dropper action has definitely slowed, most of the action has been with nymphs and just a little on streamers.  The water temps have cooled a bit but we’d still recommend laying off the river during the heat of the day.  There are still plenty of fish hanging out in the riffle water where they have more oxygen.  Try to get them in quickly and released happy and healthy!
